M & C – A Stroll Through Time on Roupell Street
Tucked behind the bustle of Waterloo, Roupell Street feels like stepping into a different era — cobbled pavements, rows of Georgian terraces, and that unmistakable charm of old London. It was the perfect backdrop for Mary and Charlie’s couple shoot: intimate, atmospheric, and effortlessly cool.

We met just as the morning light began to spill across the brickwork, giving the whole street a soft, golden glow. Mary wore a classic trench and ankle boots, while Charlie kept it timeless in a dark wool coat — their outfits blending beautifully with the neutral tones and textures of the street. There’s something about Roupell Street that slows everything down, and that gentle pace gave us space to focus on the quiet moments between them — shared glances, spontaneous laughter, a hand brushing against the other.
As we wandered further, the backdrop shifted subtly: a painted front door here, a vintage bicycle there — each frame felt like a little story of its own. These weren’t overly posed photos; instead, we let the setting guide us, capturing Mary and Charlie just as they are — relaxed, connected, and completely in their own world.
Urban shoots like this are always a favourite — there’s so much beauty in the simplicity, and so much personality in the little details. And for a couple like Mary and Charlie, who radiate ease and style, Roupell Street was the perfect place to tell a quiet, meaningful love story in the heart of the city.
